I will stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
